History of clean energy

Our clean energy business had begun from the solar sheet roll-up type products in 2010. Now the products are developed for the smart city and off-grid solutions combined with IoT.
Our solutions will light the direction to the new era.

    Prototype solar unitA prototype solar unit was exhibited on PV EXPO 2010.
    It was the first step of the development.

    GSR-110BSince every single part such as the charging circuit and roll-up mechanism were required to design from the beginning, the entire OS Group worked together to plan and develop the first mass-production clean energy product, called “GSR-110B”.

    Everywhere generator

    The “Everywhere generator” brand was born for the solutions which were able to generate power wherever the sunlight is existing.


  • 2011

    We donated the mobile solar solution and rechargeable lanterns to the three prefectures in the Tohoku region as the relief supply of the 2011 Tohoku earthquake.
    Then the letter of appreciation had received from Miyagi prefecture.


  • 2013

    We provided “Everywhere generator” solutions to the participants of Atacama Crossing 2013.
    We provided the everywhere generator solutions to “Atacaman” which was the student’s marathon team to achieve completion of “Atacama Crossing”, which is one of the harshest desert marathons.
    “Atacaman” aimed to run 250 km in 7 days with all needed luggage on the back such as water, food, and sleeping bags. Each team member had their own project. We produce the original model for Hiroki Kimura, the vice-captain, who had the “Ene-runner” project.
    He had only used the power generated by himself.

    GS-1004BSince the mobile solar sheet, called “GSS-1004B” outputs the DC 5V power, it have been possible to charge the general power banks.

    All weather usable battery “GBW” was developed. This is the first model of large capacity battery series, which is the previous model of movable battery series.

We created “TerraSerde” brand to expand the PV technology and solutions, that change the sunlight to the electric power.

    We created “Everywhere storage” brand, which solutions had excellent quietness, does not pollute the air, and available for anytime, everywhere.

    TerraSerde
    TerraSerde is solutions and system brand that combined solar sheet, battery, applications, and internet communication. We develop TerraSerde solutions to achieve the safe, sustainable and better life by TerraSerde interface, rechargeable battery, and renewable energy.

    TFL-100
    TFL series are the LED street light by wrapped solar sheet on the pole. Since the light turns on and off depending the power generation status, it is not required the timer or sensor for the turning the light on.

    The solar street lights were installed in Nigeria.
    65 units of TerraSerde solar street lights were installed in Nigeria. Then this solution expanded to other regions of Africa, such as Kenya. It made the sustainable life for African people.

    TFL-201
    The solar street lights “TFL-201” were installed in Seseragi park at Shisou city, Hyogo, Japan.
    When the city recreated the park, our solar street light were nominated as the lighting system of the park. The advantages of nominated were installation easiness, and sustainability design.

    GN-100
    Solar sheet charger was able to connect to the electric devices such as smartphone by USB connector. This is one of the most valuable solutions against out of smartphone battery for the IoT society.

    Women support project by UN in MauritaniaWe provided to solar sheet charger for the women support project by UN in Mauritania.


  • 2019

    GN-100We supported Mr. Ken NOGUCHI, a Japanese mountaineer, to climb Manaslu in Nepal by providing the solar sheet and battery. He used it on camp, and it proved our solar sheet technology could work well in a harsh environment.

    GB-3100C
    As the successor model of GBW series, the movable battery was developed which has the large capacity and water-proof battery. This was able to be used in a harsh environment. There were AC type and DC type for any demands.

Self-powered pole bring the world hope by lighting the off-grid areas.

    Off-grid self-powered pole was developed. It could generate the power by solar sheet, store it in the battery, and use the power for applications.


  • 2021

    TFLOff-grid street lights, which combined off-grid self-powered pole with LED light, were developed. They were called “TFL-1001S, 2001S, 3001S”


  • 2021

    Made an agreement with Shiso city government.Our off-grid solution was made use to have an agreement about the city development with Shiso city government. The test running was started.


  • 2022

    We installed 4 self-powered poles in Shiso city and started to work on solving regional issues (disaster prevention / disaster mitigation/ crime prevention).


  • 2022

    Shiso city and OSM announced the demonstration experiment toward practical application of self-powered pole which can be used as independent power supply generated by solar energy would be began from 18th Mar. at the joint press conference.
    The joint press conference with Shiso city was held.

    MIRAIT ONE, Futaba Corporation, and Nippon Antenna have newly joined in the demonstration experiment of the TerraSerde off-grid power pole that OSM and Shiso City are promoting, and a public-private partnership agreement was concluded on June 23, 2022.
    OSM, MIRAIT ONE, Futaba Corporation, and Nippon Antenna signed an agreement with Shiso City.
